Either way you can probably use your other financial aid. Basically, if the donor specifies that your scholarship is only for school fees (tuition, books, dorms etc) then use it to pay those and use the refund on your other aid to pay other bills. The school usually will automatically use schorships and grants first to pay bills and then disburse other funds to you.
